Easy Installation & Compatibility ⚙️

How to install these Audacity presets:

1. Download the preset file after checkout. It arrives as a .txt macro file.
2. Open Audacity and go to Tools, then Macros.
3. Click Import, then select the file you downloaded.
4. The preset now appears in your Macros list.
5. Select your audio, then choose the macro and click Apply to Selection.

• ✅ Works with Audacity 3.0 to 3.9 (English language version) on both Mac and Windows.
• ❌ Not compatible with Audacity 4. These presets are Audacity macros, and Audacity 4 no longer supports macros. Audacity 4 presets will be released as separate packs, clearly labelled Audacity 4.

Does Audacity have voice effects?
Audacity includes pitch, echo, reverb, distortion and filtering. These presets combine them into finished character voices so you do not have to dial each one in.

How do I add effects to audio in Audacity?
Select your audio, then apply a saved macro. Import these once and each voice is a single click after that.

What is a creepy voice made of?
Usually pitch shifting downward, a little detune, and filtered reverb. The Creepy Voice preset applies that chain.

Can I use these for Halloween and Christmas promos?
Yes, that is what the Halloween Voice and Christmas Voice presets are for.

Do these work on any microphone?
Yes. These are transformations rather than corrections, so microphone type does not matter. The Voice Over pack is the one organised by microphone.
