Vraiment Top, merci beaucoup !

I commissioned a sweeper with Arlo’s voice for WabiSabi Radio, hoping for a high-quality result that would elevate our melodic, contemporary house music station. Unfortunately, the delivered sweeper fell far short of expectations despite clear instructions.

The initial recording had only 1 second of outro silence instead of the required 3 seconds, which was critical for post-production integration with our playlist. While Arlo’s performance was satisfactory, the revised version introduced a music bed and high-pitched effects that felt jarring and misplaced, completely disrupting the groove and clashing with the sophisticated, non-stressy aesthetic I requested. These additions threw off the sweeper’s tempo and undermined its effectiveness for our station.

My guidelines provided precise technical requirements and sample sweepers to guide the melodic, elegant style, but the outcome lacked the creativity and quality I anticipated. I chose not to use the file and moved on, sharing this feedback to encourage improvements in future projects.

We’re currently changing our main station voice over to Arlo. He is a great voiceover artist and needs very little guidance, he just perfects the right tone each time!

Arlo just knows exactly what to do with pronunciations, sound, and voice. One of our top favorites for voice overs! Nails it every time!
