Questions, answered
The things DJs and presenters ask before ordering.
What are countdown jingles and how do I use them in a chart show?
Countdown jingles are voiced numbers you play before each song in a chart rundown. Drop Mike's British male count in front of every track, from your first entry to your number one, and the show sounds produced. Every number is a separate MP3, so any chart length works.
What are the four cuts of each number?
Each number from 1 to 100 comes as a dry voice, a vocal FX cut, a beeps cut and a booms cut. Use the dry cuts over your own beds and the produced cuts straight on air.
Will the files work in my playout or DJ software?
Yes. They are standard MP3 files, numbered 001 to 100 so they stay in order, and they load into any playout system, DJ software or audio editor.
Can I get a countdown voiced with my station name?
Yes. Book Mike for a custom voiceover and he can voice your own countdown, station name and all. Prefer a different sound? Hear the other voices under more countdown options above.
