FAQ For Podcast Production

How Much Does Podcast Production Cost?

The price for podcast editing depends on the length of the files you send us to edit (not the final episode length!). We have a variety of podcast production packages available. You can choose between 15, 30, 45 of 60 min episodes. If you require editing for a longer podcast just get in touch and we will create a custom package for you. Simply select the package that is closest to the length you are working with.

How Long Does It Take To Produce a Podcast?

We will do our best to work to your requirements. Typically we would ask for 72 working hours to post produce an episode. We can provide audio sooner if you let us know in advance.

What Is Included In Post Editing?

We recognise that each podcast is unique and tailor our services to suit your specific needs. As a standard the following are included

  • Adding EQ and light compression
  • Adding branding elements to your podcast (intro, outro, transitions, ads etc)
  • Reducing breaths and microphone pops
  • Noise removal (where possible)
  • Post editing blips and mistakes
How Much Podcast Editing Is Included?

We typically allocate 3 x purchased length of the producer time to your podcast. All our producers are experts with many years of experience so we can guarantee highest time efficiency. This allocation will allow for standard editing with an average number of edits required. Note that if you have very specific requirements (such as remove every breath or more than 10 edits per 30 min audio provided) - you may need to purchase additional time to cover this. You can add the Podcast Editing Expansion Pack. This may also be needed if you have more than 3 podcast hosts/guests per episode. Editing a podcast with multiple files or edits simply takes longer and our basic editing package doesn't account for that.
